Each aniseed is layered with natural flavours and liquid sugar for 15 days, resulting in smooth edible pastilles that are free from artificial colours and preservatives. Anis de Flavigny's Anise pastilles are 100% natural and are about the size of a pea. In keeping with tradition, over 15 days aniseeds are wrapped in delicately flavoured liquid sugar until the sweet becomes gradually bigger. The finish is smooth due to the sweets rolling against each other in large pans. Sold in beautiful keepsake oval tins that depict the love story between a shepherd and his maiden.
